Delicious food at a great price, the dishes are interesting and fun to try. The staff are also really friendly, and overall a relaxed atmosphere. Recommend the Samosa Chaat!

My partner and I ordered chicken fried rice and egg noodles here. I was excited to eat at this restaurant but they really felt short on the taste 🙁 The noodles were dry. However, the people are… really sweet at the restaurant. Service staff is polite and courteous. I am sure the momos must be great but we did not try them.read more

Loads of Vegan and Vegetarian options and everything I tried was delicious! The staff were super friendly and the food was reasonably priced. Will definitely be returning on a regular basis!

Always busy, not impressive but good portion and varieties. Be ready with all spices from Nepal which can be quite strong for some people. Their samosas are great! Most of the food are high on carbs… like all Asian foods. I would suggest, increase the veggies, reduce the carbs or portion. Or different options for people to choose from.read more

Delicious chowmein and momos. Sadly they were sold out of the pani puri but i will definitely be going back to order that and some of the other delicious looking items on the menu!!

Very average food- we ordered Chicken steam momos, chicken chilli momos and Mix Chowmein.Food was lacking flavour and taste. Overpriced items for very average quality.

Tried a couple of dishes from Momo Central for the first time today. Veg Chowmein and Veg Fried Rice.I absolutely loved the flavours. Definitely one of the best Nepalese food I have had in the… city. Handsome portions as well. Totally worth the price.Will definitely be back to try rest of their offerings especially momos 🙂read more

My Nepalese friend brought me here for lunch and said I had to try the buff momo (Buffalo dumpling) soup. As with any ethnic food, you need to suspend your expectations and trust their home cooking… skills – and my friend’s recommendations were spot on: beautifully seasoned ground buffalo meat inside a dumpling with a mild curry-type soup broth. I had mine medium-hot and reckon I could have gone the full heat. Nepalese dumplings are thicker than your typical Chinese or Japanese, but still delicate and tasty. This is a busy and popular cafe, so your order may need a 20 to 30 minute wait, but its worth it.As I only tried a single dish, I’ll start with 4 stars. After I’ve been back and tried more dishes, we’ll adjust the rating as appropriate!read more

The food was pretty good. The thukpa contained more soup than noodles. However the momos were great and very fresh. Although the service was a bit slow but it’s a busy restaurant and always bustling… so I think it’s understandable. Good food, good customer service! 🙂read more

First experience was perfect, amazing 5-star Momos with great service. Went another two times which were not great. The second time we went, my order was incorrect, and when the correct order came it… was cold and had a piece of hair. The third time they charged us more than they were supposed to (only gave half the cash discount) although we’ve already pointed out the difference prior to them giving just half the cash discount, which made the whole experience not so pleasant.read more

Love this place. I would recommend trying out their dumplings. I would love it if they had a pan-fried variation. Unfortunately they only have steamed, fried, and chilli sauce variations.

This ones an absolute delight! Great food and lovely staff. Really appreciate the owner coming up to every table and asking for people’s reviews. The most prominent dish in Nepalese cuisine is… probably momos and the momos here are to die for. They’re tender, juicy and perfectly spiced which makes you not wanna stop. Overall it’s a lovely experience and a must-try place while you’re in the CBD.read more

The veg momo was remarkably delightful. Everyone enjoyed the Lamb and chicken choila. Overall the service was fantastic and the staff were really nice and gave us complimentary too. Had a great… experience . Will surely visit more often in future.read more

I had their chicken momo johl and its the 2nd best ive had in melbourne. They served it the correct way …the soup was cold and the hot momos warm it as you eat…yum!
